This 95W limitation is for protect motherboard for using CPU over it's design limit. So the motherboard's life time will stay longer. Please refer CPU support page in motherboard model page for the proper CPU support.

TA990FXE motherboard's eSATA (external SATA) device will run at Generation I (1.5Gbig/s) and Generation II (3.0Gbit/s) speed. It will depend on external device's speed.

Here is the instruction for turning on the CPU clock ratio for TA75A+ motherboard.

1.Go to CMOS O.N.E. menu
2.Select Manual Overclock

3.Go to P-States configuration and enable it.

Default BIOS setting for SATA port will set to IDE compatible mode. For using Ubuntu to install OS, it will need to set to AHCI mode. Then SATA DVD drive can be recognize by Ubuntu. Please press Delete key to go BIOS> Advanced> SATA Mode> AHCI mode, then press F4 key Save and exit the BIOS setting. It will help system to recognize SATA DVD drive properly during OS installation.
