When using Intel FSB 800 CPU with 90nm (Prescott) core, the normal working temperature will be around 50 degrees Centigrade. However, if the CPU cooler did not sit properly on the CPU retention kit, CPU temperature might go up to 70 or 80 degrees. To make the CPU temperature goes back to normal operating range.
