Go to BIOS SATA setting and set SATA IDE Combined Mode to "Disable". SATA 5 port will be able to support in RAID mode.

1. If you have an Intel boxed fan, then it already has built-in smartfan function. There will be no need for the Intel boxed fan.

2. Please be sure to use 4 pin CPU fan which will allow Smart Fan to control. 3 pin CPU will not be able to support for Smart Fan function.

3. After boot up, press Delete key in POST screen to go to CMOS.

Then go to Advanced> Smart Fan Control.

4. Select CPU Smart Fan to "Auto" for default Smart Fan control.

5. If need precise Smart Fan control, please select CPU Fan Calibration.

It will run a test for the CPU fan for a minute, then show out the Suggest Value for Start Value and Sensitive. Type in these two values then press F4 key to save the BIOS setting. Smart Fan will work at best setting for the system.

On-board HDMI® audio output will need to connect to HDMI® audio decoder or Home Theater system to support 5.1 channel audio output. Monitor or TV's HDMI® speaker will only be able to support 2 channel audio output.

Please go to BIOS> Chipset> USB configuration> set xHCI mode set to "Auto".

This setting will help for Intel 7 series chipset for recognize the USB 3.0 device while swap two different OS.

Please use Windows XP SP3 for OS installation. Because there are many known problems on Windows XP SP1.

First, please go to BIOS and set 1. Primary Video Controller: GFX0-GPP-IGFX-PCI (BIOS default). 2. Surround View: Enable. 3. VIOS Type: HDMI® or DVI.

Download VGA Driver : Catalyst 10-9 (V8.771.0.0) and remove other VGA drivers.

In Windows, open ATI CCC countrol panel disable Crossfile selection and save setting.

After system restart, 4 monitors will be able to support properly.

HiFi H77X's Smart EAR function will only support front audio connector.

Rear panel audio output does not support Smart EAR function.

Due to motherboard hardware design limitation, G41D3C will not be able to support Intel Prescott core CPU. Please use 65 nm and 45 nm Intel CPU which listed on CPU support page.

All Linux version after 2010, will have build in driver for support VIA VT1708B audio codec.

Some PCI-E x1 device might be working at Gen1 speed, so it will need to go to BIOS and set PCI-E x1 to Gen1 speed to get the signal to recognize it.
