This problem Is caused by a bug of Microsoft Operating System. A patch file need to be installed In order to fix such error. When the system are using HD Audio such as Realtek ALC 880 / 882 /883 / 861 chipset , a Microsoft patch file Is needed. If the iDEQ system uses Realtek ALC audio codec, the default setting of audio driver is set for 2-channel SPDIF output. Users need to open the Realtek AC97 configuration >> Sound Effect. Set the Environment to Generic, then SPDIF output will work for 6-channel output.
