AMD AOD w/ACC feature (advanced clock calibration) has been a super hot topic last year. BIOSTAR now provides the easiest way for users who are not familiar with BIOS setting, “BIO-unlocKING” technology enables the ACC function and unlock the extra 3rd or 4th core with a super-simple 1 click on your keyboard; furthermore, we offer users to choose the specific core(s) depending on system environment.
During the post screen, you are able to unlock the 4th core by pressing “F4” or unlock the 3rd core by pressing “F3”. “BIO-unlocKING” will automatically enable your ACC function and unlock the extra core for user in BIOS setting. Once see the logo of “CPU Level up”, you are successful to unlock those extra core(s) depending which hot key you click. In addition, you can also active specific core separately. We provided this friendly feature in BIOS setup where you could choose how many core(s) and appoint specific cores (core0 ~ core3). Users can even turn off some surplus core(s) for power saving purpose.

ACC is just like gambling. User could usually get extra core then gain system performance from ACC; however, User may also experience the bad core from ACC. BIO-unlocking now also provides you a function, which could activate specific each core separately, in BIOS setup. You could choose how many core(s) and the specific core (core0 ~ core3) depending on the cores' condition and user environment. The first step, turn the “Core Leveling” to Manual from Auto. The second step, you will see CPU core(s) at below. You could turn some surplus core(s) off for power saving, or enable all 4 cores for Overclocking or Gaming.
